Big, bulky photo booths are a thing of the past! Our San Antonio Digital Photo Booth is small (about 5.5 feet tall), sleek, and provides instant photographs, GIFs, or Boomerangs to guests via text or email. In the social media world we live in today, this feature allows immediate sharing to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Companies love that their branded event can immediately be shared with the world.
As featured in the video, we use a Nikon mirrorless camera to take photographs and an iPad Air to capture GIFs and Boomerangs. We also attach a Godox flash with an umbrella to the top of the photo booth for that extra color pop and to make sure every photograph is perfectly exposed. Once guests or our attendant presses the customized “press here” button, the iPad counts down from 3 before snapping a photo. The image immediately shows on the iPad for guests to view and send to themselves.
We work with each event to customize the digital output guests receive. Sometimes, this is as simple as a small logo in the corner or bottom of the media (such as the examples at the bottom of this post). Other times, it is a more elaborate customization, such as the framed and branded logo as seen in the video.

San Antonio Digital Photo Booth
Our San Antonio Digital Photo Booth might differ slightly from other photo booths on the market because we are digital only. Although we do not offer prints, guests are able to text and/or email their photograph to themselves immediately after it is taken.
Our experience as event photographers at Parish Photography helped in our decision to be digital only. When we photograph an event with printed photo booth materials, we often find the prints scattered throughout the venue at the end of the night, only to be thrown away by the clean up crew. While it might be novel at the time to receive something physical from a photo booth experience, the reality is that nowadays we live in a digital world. People would much rather keep a photo on their phone than save a tangible low resolution copy. Digital also allows us to be environmentally friendly!
How does it work?
Feel free to check out the video for a demonstration of how our San Antonio Digital Photo Booth works. We love that it is a small machine. This means that it won’t take up much space at your event. We recommend at least an 8×8 space to comfortably fit the machine, background, and prop table. The Photo Booth has a Nikon Mirrorless camera that takes the picture and an iPad with custom graphics that sends the image to you.
In addition to photographs, our photo booth also allows guests to create a GIF and a Boomerang. We love hearing our guests laugh at their funny dance moves while holding custom props.
